Athlete of the Week

Our “Athlete of the Week” is Mark Burggraff. Mark has been with us the past few months and has seen some awesome results…almost to much results. In the 1st 2 months he lost over 18 lbs! And he didn’t really have that much to lose.

He has taken his focus to strength gains and building his intensity through each workout. Mark is a consistent, hard working and positive force.

Thank you Mark for all you bring into our community, we appreicate you!

  4. I have to say I am a little stunned by this. First of all I think it’s the first time I’ve ever been called an athlete. I think there are so many other people who are more worthy. Thanks for the honor. I also have to say my wife is getting a charge out of this. Crossfit has definitely been a game changer for me. Crossfit has definitely been the most effective fitness routine I’ve ever done. It is not without its cost though. I have nicely scabbed shins from deadlifts, a big lump on my forehead that makes me look like a Klingon from nailing my head with the bar while doing snatches and a fine set of calluses from, well dang near everything else. I could care less though because it is one of the few places I don’t have to think and just do. It’s a great stress reliever. So thanks again Chris, Annie, Cody, Casey and all the other crossfitters in Sioux Falls who help push me by kicking my ass every workout.
