Being Ready for Anything and Keeping a Positive Attitude!
There are two ways to look at life….. Is the glass half empty, or half full?
It is the same way when you come into CrossFit! Your attitude in your daily life and in the gym reflects your results!
I use to tend to look at the glass half empty. I was always down on myself about what I wasn’t accomplishing instead of what I was and how great I was becoming, and then CrossFit came into my life! People were so positive around me all the time encouraging, praising, and recognizing, not only others improvements but their own as well. I started to notice that CrossFit’s positivity was overflowing into my everyday life, and I was (and am) enjoying life and my workouts so much more!
Now if I am having a bad day, I look forward to CrossFit and the people of CrossFit to get me back on track.
So I challenge us all to keep a positive attitude in our daily lives and our WOD’s and the outcomes will be phenomenal!

I couldn’t agree more. Whenever I feel like punching someone at work (I know that’s not nice) I can’t wait to get to crossfit, and that’s usually when I preform my best and leave feeling refreshed like I can take anything on. Thanks Crossfit Sioux Falls!

TOTALLY agree! I’m a morning CFer, and if I don’t get my workout in the morning, I’m a bear all day. I eat crappy, I lack motivation, and I’m grouchy. I love endorphins, and they are particularly awesome when they’re CF-induced, which I attribute not only to sense of accomplishment after surviving a challenging workout, but also to the love flowing from my 5:30am CF family!

Being ready…
Never know how my day is going to unfold
my job, help put lives back together after a life of war
these are my guys, my team, and I’m very protective of them
I love what I do
I see and hear it all…
some come and life continues to march on as before
for many a different story
arrogant and cocky
self medicating,alcohol and drugs
frustrated and angry
homicidal, fighting, and prison
chronic pain and suffering
memory loss, prosthetics, and pills
shattered and broken
suicidal, survivor guilt, and tears
this is my other team
the team I need to be ready for
to be there when they fall
to cheer them on when they succeed
I need my 0530 CF team
so I can give to my warrior team

Annie: I totally agree. I am sooooo glad that I am back. There is nothing like being in a room full of crazy freaky people, knowing that you are doing something that only a small percentage of folks in SF are willing to try. We are definitely a special breed, it is contagious and makes going to work and then home to my family more rewarding. I love my aches, pains and battle scars and wear them with pride. Thanks to you and Chris for coming to Sioux Falls from sunny CA and sharing your love of fitness with us.
