“How often do you review your goals? Every year? Month? Week? If so, you may be ahead of most people. Even so, I recommend a more frequent review period that will seem like overkill for some people, but to me it’s the key to maintaining focus on your goals and actually making them a reality. The key habit […]” read more at reviewing goals from zenhabits.net

I’m now happier with my progress! All it takes is for someone to say the right words and my determination kicks in: “you have to just push through it”. When I feel like I need to rest, those words replay and I’ve been feeling better about my finish times now.
Old/continuing goals:
1. Pullups: NO BANDS, BABY!!!!! YES!!! I didn’t make this for my Jan goal but I wasn’t too far off! I think part of my problem was a mental wall. I’m trying to learn the butterfly method now. This will be something I can practice on my pullup bar at home too!
2. Strength: bought a 25lb dumbbell for at home (and plan on purchasing some more weights!)…I’m still progressing on this one and I can tell I keep improving which is still a step in the right direction.
3. Pushups: I’m still a little weak on this one but for the most part, I’ve been doing band assisted pushups which is still a step forward! Just need to keep chiseling at it with Miss Caiti K!
4. Be able to do prescribed weight on thrusters. Not sure I’m quite ready for this one yet…trying to mentally prepare for it. Once I get my remainder weights for home, I think I’ll be more mentally prepared….don’t ask because I really don’t know 🙂
5. Deadlift 175lbs – I plan on trying this on a day I have a little more time to hang out longer. My current max is 155lbs.
6. Start back on more strict Paleo. Hello, challenge! Down another 6lbs so far and feeling GREAT! Craving guac again, which is good!
7. Start doing some mini-home workouts on my “off” days.
8. Lose the last 10lbs to reach my goal weight!!
As always, keep holding me accountable and pushing me to succeed! If you see me resting during a WOD, YELL AT ME!!! 🙂
